If I'm not ready to order but want to store things in a shopping cart as I add them, can I?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can add items to your transaction cart, and when you are ready to order, go to the saved items section from the menu, find the order cart you have in progress, and complete it. Your order then goes out to other users on the network who can fill it. Adding items as you think about them is a great way to use the app as a shopping list you build bit by bit, then put onto the Peersit network for completion when the list is done.

What are the hours of operation of the app?

Where can I currently use Peersit?

Accepted Answer

You can currently use Peersit in the apartment complexes where it's available and where you have been notified. We will let users know when it's available elsewhere.

Question 4

Can I order alcohol on Peersit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can if you are at least 21 years of age in Florida. Show your ID to the person who drops it off to you when the transaction is being completed.

Question 5

Can I cancel my order after making it?

Accepted Answer

Prior to the order being accepted by anyone you can cancel the order without any penalty. If your supplier has already accepted the order, you must contact them within the app and let them know you need to cancel before cancellation. If they have already picked up your order and paid for it, you will be responsible for the goods purchased on your behalf and the transaction fee.

Question 6

If the person doesn't show up with my delivery order, ATM money or other things I ordered, will I be billed?

Accepted Answer

If they don't show up, you aren't billed for the order. You are fine in all cases and don't have to worry about your money. Feel free to cancel the order within the app if communication with them can't be made there. In 99.9% of cases they will show up, since they took the order and want to make the fee. If you have any issues that the app can't handle with the messaging and calling features, let us know.

What forms of payment can I use to pay, or to receive payment if I complete an order for someone?

Accepted Answer

You can pay with your debit card or credit card on Peersit. If you are on the supply side and fill an order for one of your neighbors, for example, you can be paid out to your debit card only. Bank account payouts will not be enabled at the outset but may be added later. Debit card payouts are faster and show up in your checking account, so that option should be chosen in most cases — especially if you choose instant payout, which reaches the bank account associated with your debit card in 5–60 minutes, ensuring you can access your earnings quickly.

Question 8

What is the difference between standard and instant payouts when I complete someone's order?

If you select a standard payout, you will be paid out to the bank account attached to your debit card within 2–3 business days. If you want more speed, select instant payout, which can be in your account within 5–45 minutes on average for a fee of 1% of the payout or $0.50, whichever is greater. Fees Peersit charges for payouts are subject to change, and any changes will be updated here in the FAQ.

What are the prices for the services on the app?

All transactions have an upfront price estimate tool and an invoice at the end that show how pricing is currently done for each transaction type. The final price is displayed there, including tip and any other adjustments. Our team will always strive to have pricing in line with your expectations as consumers and suppliers, depending on which part of the app you are using. Please refer to the price estimate tool while ordering and the order invoice at the end of each transaction for current pricing, and any other place in the app that displays price estimates. Pricing is subject to change from time to time based on market conditions, but will remain affordable.

Question 10

How do we use the secret code groups functionality to give a portion of the proceeds to our group and keep the rest?

If you are part of an organization that is fundraising, have one user — such as the president, treasurer or some other trusted party — create the secret group code in the supplier side of the app, on the settings page. The rest of you can place yourselves in the group using the code they give you, on your own supplier settings page. Any time you do a transaction as a service provider on the app, a certain percentage of the service fee and tip will go to the group and the rest will be forwarded to you for completing the transaction. The percentage taken by the group creator will be disclosed to you by them in most cases, since you are clearly part of their organization. Please speak to them for more details on the percentages they are taking on each transaction you complete as a supplier who has joined a secret code group. How do we use secret codes, and how do they differ from group codes?

In the consumer side of the app, in your settings, you can set any secret codes that you want which are given to you by others. Your apartment complex may have its own code. If that is the only code in your account, then when you place an order only your neighbors who have that code in the supply side of their app will see the order — provided you have the app set to send orders to secret codes only. You can run multiple codes and only send orders to those people, or you can open it up and let anyone fill an order for you. With group codes, a percentage of the service fee and/or tip is taken by the group, but with secret codes none of the profits are shared with a group such as a fraternity, sorority or student organization. That is the only difference between group codes and secret codes. Twenty friends could simply use the same code like “friends20”, and if everyone has this code entered in the secret code section, then these twenty friends are the only ones who can fill your order — and everyone receives 100% of their money any time they do a transaction for someone. That is the power of using the secret code for those who want privacy or need to know who they transact with. If you wanted to create the same functionality with groups, someone could create the group code and then set the transaction and tip percentages to 0, which means they wouldn't be taking a cut of each transaction. Then you simply pass this group code out to the twenty friends. Once again, if you care more about reach and having your transaction filled as fast as possible, consider letting anyone fill the order using your consumer side settings. Test which mix of settings works best for you — Peersit offers many to choose from. If you don't see this functionality in your app, we will make it available soon; some features are restricted or not available as we roll them out for certain clients and partners.

What are the general rules and qualifications for the user bonuses that are paid out to us?

Accepted Answer

Peersit is happy to give out user bonuses to our power users, and plans to do so on a weekly, monthly and/or annual basis — and may even have other intervals where we pass out these bonuses. These could be $1,000 – $50,000 a year for each winner, potentially. If you like the app and use it often, next thing you know you will earn extra money simply for being a frequent user of Peersit. Please refer to the other FAQ questions for specific information on supplier bonuses and consumer bonuses. We will be running multiple user bonus sections, so please refer to the user bonus contest area in the app to see which ones you qualify for and how often. We at Peersit are happy to revenue share with our users and provide that something extra to those who are very active in the Peersit community.

What are the details for supplier bonuses for those doing deliveries, trash pickups, cash back and other orders?

Peersit keeps track of the stats for all people doing deliveries and other services, and pays out of the bonus fund to the top individuals by the number of transactions they complete. We may also pay out by top dollar volume. We may also split this out into individuals and businesses so that the little guy doesn't get squeezed out and has the ability to receive performance bonuses. Check the user bonus section of the app from the consumer side menu to see the current cash bonuses we have running for users.

What are the details for the consumer bonuses for those ordering via Peersit?

Peersit keeps track of the power user individuals and firms who are ordering often in each transaction category, and gives bonuses to these users too. Think of it as a huge discount for ordering from your favorite app all the time. Why order anywhere else if your orders can end up being free because you ordered from the app more than anyone else did in your complex, school or organization? We will also have a category for companies and larger entities, who will get revenue sharing bonuses and rebates for being power users of Peersit. In some cases the bonuses will be far more than you spent ordering, and well into the thousands of dollars. Please check the user bonus section of the app from the consumer side, and the bonus tracker at the top of the main screen where you choose your order category — the currently running cash bonuses are listed there.

Is Apple or Google affiliated with the Peersit bonus program, or a sponsor of it?

Apple and Google are in no way sponsoring any of the user bonuses that Peersit will be paying out, and are also not involved in any of the other promotions that we will be carrying out for our valued users.
